This one is with many thanks to the organisers of QEDCon – an interview with Alan Henness and the Nightingale Collaboration presentation! QEDCon was a two-day science and skepticism conference which took place in the Manchester Piccadilly hotel from February 5-6 2011. Keep track of their future events by checking out the Greater Manchester Skeptics Society and the Merseyside Skeptics Society.
The Nightingale Collaboration has been highly influential with its efforts in the UK and inspires other countries to try similar strategies. They suggest that supporters ‘focus complaints on one area of healthcare each month, as this will mean they can focus their research and adjudication process. Hopefully, this will enable the ASA to deal with complaints more quickly and effectively.’ This is done via the site, on Focus of the Month.
